gibson x-plorer pickup question?

Hey guess. I have the gibson x-plorer in classic white with the ebony fretboard for maybe a month now. I love it! I just noticed the the pickups move back and forth very easily. Not the holding bracket but the actual pickups. They move like lets say i push down on the top end of the pickup the bottom end will lift and same thing if i push on the bottom. It doesnt effect the sound or anything and it doesnt sound like anything is wrong. I was just wondering if this is ok/normal for this guitar or any guitar really.

Pickups are held in place by 2 screws, which doesn't give the most stability. As long as the pickup doesn't fall out, then you're fine. Congrats on the new axe!

ya they dont fall out or anything they just move kind of like a see saw. I guess if it doesnt sound broke then dont worry right? Thanks for the reply

Actually, the pickups are suspended against the mounting rings by coil springs over the pickup screws. It is perfectly natural for them to move.
