Just purchased Positive Grid's Bias Desktop Amp the other day and really digging the sound of the Triple Rec sim.
I haven't seen many videos of it being shown of in a death metal/tech death mix, so I re-amped some old riffs I had lying around in the bank and did a little mix test for people to get an idea of what Bias sounds like with a more extreme style of playing.
Hopefully this gives people who are looking to try it and idea of what it is capable of in a mix!
Used Pod Farm Screamer distortion pre-Bias amp to boost input signal and change a little bit of tone, and used a little clean up eq post-bias amp to clean the high end a little bit around 4-5k.
Bass was programmed with Trillian and ran through Bias Amp Gallien Krueger sim.
Drums where programmed with Addictive Drums 2 and Drumagog 5.
