baby taylor

I tried a baby taylor today and really liked the sound, it was very surprising how sweet it sounded, the mahogany one. They don't have any 'boom' because of the size, it'd be a great recording guitar for that reason.

the mini GS sounds even better!
with that same 'parlor' size guitar sound,
would make an excellent recording tool

+1

The GS mini is, imo, so much better than the baby, both in sound and playability.

What you really should check out, though, is the Big Baby. 7/8 size.

do you own one? yeah would love to play on one, and compare them, in the shop they only stock the baby version though.

btyre,
no, i don't own a GS mini,
but i have played them, in direct comparison to the big baby (which IS bigger than the GS mini), baby, and the grand auditorium, which i DO own (mine is a 2001 414)

but the GS sounds more...... refined, than the big or regular baby.

it's just really dialed in.

i would gladly sell my Seagull Artist Mosiac for a GS Mini.
probably will, eventually.

I have an old (about) 1960 B25 (parlor style), after using it, then playing the BT, I couldn't say I was impressed. Maybe it is a matter of not fully appreciating what I have.
