Upgrade to Apogee Duet 2??

Hi All

I'm thinking of upgrading from a Roland Duo Capture EX to an Apogee Duet 2. Just wondering if anyone has done the same or similar upgrade and has noticed any real improvement in sound quality. I'm about to embark on creating a CD and want to get the best results possible.

I just upgraded from Apogee Duet FireWire to Apogee Duet 2. OMG, the Duet 2 is clear and crisp unlike anything I've ever heard. Very easy to use. I was a bit hesitant about shelling out this much for a 2 channel recorder but the difference was easy to hear.
