Should I buy set of used Celestion 3 speakers?

I recently came across a nice set of Celestion 3 speakers. From what I have read they are good speakers but I don't know what they are meant for.

Does anyone know how these sound? More specifically are they good for studio use or are they more for home listening?

they look in good shape. you have to hear them...
the lining around the cone usually goes out first for age rot...
the tweeters seem to last the longest imo, but im not a speaker expert just a gearhead whose been burnt buying used a lot. there is some money worth in new and 30day returns. (insurance)

i have a old weird thing though, it seems a lot of speakers that use Allen socket screws and inserts are well built...like B&W etc...and I notice those have the allen head screws. Just a theory...
