Hi everyone
I am about to get 16 channels for studio work.
Aside of the main preamps we have already (ISA430 + API512c) I would like to know if any of you has had the chance to compare the preamps of the Audient ZEN console and the Allen Heath GSR24.

Utterly, if these pres would compare to ISA828 or if they're better/worse, in that case, I would take two of them and get a control surface.

hello

I saw your post and so decided to register. Anyway, I have had the A&H gsr24 for five years now and I'm growing to like it more and more. The eq, contrary to what a minority feel, is powerful and warm. I haven't tried audient yet but I'm going to get a mobile rig together probably with the id14 and asp 880. I'll be able to give a direct comparison then..actually probably tomorrow if you're interested. I used have a Mackie but GSR24 is really in a different league from that. The routing options are mind-blowing on the A&H.
It's an awful lot of quality for very little money(relatively speaking of course). I saw one on ebay.de going for 2999 euro - get it!
