pedal 6 problem on behringer Fcb1010 midi foot controller

So I;m having a really weird problem on my foot controller which is I want to be able to activate the Sysex Send so that I can send info to my pc so when I go in to global configuration mode I go to the config page and press pedal 6 to activate that option so what's happening is that when I press the pedal it turns off after 1 second

Has anyone experienced this? Is there any solution?
