Connecting Phone Patch to Mackie

I have a 1202 VLZ and a JK audio inline phone patch. I want to use my mic to speak to the party on the other end of the phone and hear him through my headphones. The rear of the patch has an XLR "Send to Phone Line" and a male and XLR "From Phone Line" There's no problem connecting the phone lines, it's where to connect those two lines to the mixer .

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The From Phone should go into a channel on the mixer. The To Phone could come out of the main outs since they are XLR but that may cause feedback. I would use an XLR-1/4 adapter and go out of the Aux or Alt buss so you can send only the channel with the mic and not the returned phone signal.
