ive got the same thing. But i had to re-install xp to re-partition my hard drive.greenie said:0f course, you dont really need an old extra computer. i installed ubuntu on my xp machine - ubuntu took care of setting up the disk properly so that both systems can co-exist. that's called dual-booting. i can start in windows or in ubuntu and reboot back and forth as necessary. kinda cool.
