Hi there
I want to start importing my own samples and program data into my DM Pro drum module and am aware that I Can do this using a PCMCIA card. However I know nothing about these cards and am really struggling to find anything out, with regards to using them with synths/modules.
I would really appreciate any assistance with the following:
Can I buy any PCMCIA card (I know they need to be type 1)? I'm a bit confused as some seem to be really expensive and others not. IT only needs to be 8 MG because that is the max for the module.
Do the cards use a USB connection to connect to the PC? If not, how do you connect to your PC so you can transfer samples onto the card. I don't think my PC has any card slots on it...
Will I be able to save whole programs along with the samples onto the card, so that new kits with new samples can be loaded in, or does this have o be done seperately?
I appreciate that I have waffled on a bit, but any help at all would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for your time
