Has anybody used the ADK CE mic? I have one on loan right now and I think its a significant upgrade from my NTK. I'm just wondering if anyone out there that has used this mic can make some comparison to the soundelux U195.

Hi pal, I haven't heard that ADK yet, but the NTK is one of the best LDC ever made, at any price tag, so maybe you mean the ADK has a different sonic signature. Anybody?

I was never to crazy about the NTK>.

The ADK CE is a serious serious mic. Nice, warm and colored. 9-position pattern. Totally on a different level than the cardioid-only NTK.

The U195 is a caridioid-only FET. Less money, of course. Also a nice mic. More clean and and some brighter than the ADK CE.

Between the two I would chose the ADK CE easily. it's a much more versatile mic and really gives body to sources.
